SHIRAZ
Vintage conditions Shiraz in particular showed great colour and structured tannin, while the optimal flavour ripeness combined with beautiful acidity produced well-balanced wines. 2006 will be remembered as one of the earliest and shortest vintages on record for the McLaren Vale region.
Colour Rich crimson in colour with crimson hue.
Aroma Notes of plum, blackberry, spice and liquorice on the nose.
Palate The palate reveals excellent integration of fruit and charry oak and full-bodied, mouth filling flavours. Excellent structure with flavours of sweet plums, spice box and liquorice lingering on the long palate, leading to a smooth fine-grained tannin finish.

This Wine will develop in the Bottle over several years. This Wine is ideal for Rich, Smoked or Gamey Dishes, or any international food with strong flavours.

SHIRAZ/CABERNET
Classic Australian Blend of two famous Grape Varieties – 60% Shiraz & 40% Cabernet.

Colour Crimson red, with purple hues.
Aroma Dark black fruit aromas of plum combine with spice and vanillin oak from the Shiraz. The addition of Cabernet gives A youthful, fresh nose displaying blackcurrant and cassis with hints of mocha oak.
Palate The supple yet generous palate is dominated by rich, spicy prune juice and black berry fruit flavours. The wine is soft and well balanced with a lingering, chamois-like tannin finish. A vibrant wine displaying ripe blackcurrant and cassis flavours, hints of chocolate oak combine with long, supple tannins to create a complex palate with excellent length. Ideal with BBQ Meats, Casseroles & Game Dishes.

CABERNET/MERLOT
Great Australian Blend combining the strength of Cabernet (60%) and the roundness and softness of Merlot (40%). Colour Youthful crimson red.

Aroma A fresh nose displaying forest berry and dark plum with nuances of violet and hints of vanilla and cedar oak.
Palate A fruit driven wine with ripe blackberry, blackcurrant and plum flavours with hints of brown spice and mocha. The palate is fresh and lively with smooth, supple tannins which offer exceptional balance to the wine. Great Partner to Mediterranean roasted vegetables, Spicy Dishes, Game and Pork Dishes.
